Description: Using it is simple, for example, to edit Crystal Palace select 'Club' on the Menubar at the top of the screen and either scroll down to Crystal Palace or search for them using the Search Filter in the top left corner of the screen. Now select Crystal Palace and an edit dialogue box will appear and so now edit the information that you wish to change and then select 'OK'
Editing a Player works in exactly the same way, by first selecting the 'Players' section on the Menubar.
You can use the Nation and Division filters in the top right of the screen to edit clubs or players in different countries and divisions and can also be used to limit the number of players or clubs listed.
The 'Overview' screen shows all of the changes that you have currently made and also gives you the option of resetting the database to the original version in case you have made a mistake or wish to start again.
Once you have finished your editing, select 'Save' and save the file as 'changes'. Once saved the 'changes.txt' file can now be moved onto your memory stick in the PSP/COMMON/FMH directory and then starting a new game will include all of your data edits.
If you wish to make more changes to a saved 'changes' file then you can load it up in the Editor and continue to make more edits to the data and then use the same method to transfer it onto your PSP. This pre-game editor allows you to keep your copy of FM Handheld 2007 as up to date as possible when you start a new game.
Once you have used the database editor and created a changes.txt file which contains your edits you can place this onto your PSP by following the steps below
1. Connect PSP to PC 2. Open memory stick in a window 3. Open PSP folder (if not there, create one) 4. Create a folder called COMMON 5. Open COMMON folder 6. Create a FMH folder 7. Open wordpad/notepad (or similar) 8. Write out commands for the changes you want to make 9. Save file as changes.txt in FMH folder you created 10. Exit USB mode on your PSP and load FMH 11. Start a new game and marvel at your edits |
